Office Space is at the Park!

I love 90s movies.  Rosslyn Outdoor Film Festival is showing 90s movies every Friday until September. This week Office Space is showing at Gateway Park at dusk.

Bring your blankets and go back down memory lane to remember “case of the Mondays” or “The ratio of people to cake is too big.” Come out this week and enjoy a night under the stars!

Shop at the Pike?

Did you know the Columbia Pike Farmers Market is now year round? Sometimes the best things come from the Pike Park in front of the Rite Aid store at the corner of Columbia Pike and S. Walter Reed Drive.

The Pike Farmers Market has been around for years and served as  the nation’s food route to the capital. Talk about some history, and it still continues.  Some of my favorite vendors from the market are:

• Smith Meadows Fresh Organic Meats & Eggs from Berryville, Virginia

Miss America in Arlington Tonight!

Caressa Cameron is making an appearance at the DSW Store in Arlington tonight from 6-8 PM. Did you know DSW is a national sponsor of the Miss America Organization?
