Catchy name isn’t it? Everyone in Arlington voted on it, and now it has been named:”Capital Bikeshare.”
Transportation and Arlington Country now has “Capital Bikeshare” as the new name for the regional bike program. The DDOT plans to launch this program later on in 2010 with 1100 bikes at 114 stations in Arlington. This will be the largest bike sharing program in the US.
I like the name because it’s self explanatory. It tells you what the program does and hopefully will attract more riders in the area. Hopefully, this program will be a hit and take off into Maryland. London, Melbourne, and Australia have will have this program soon, since results have been successful in Montreal.

Eat This, Not That…

Calorie counts are coming to chain restaurant menus and boards soon. How do you know if a meal is healthy for you without the nutritious information?
The Cheesecake Factory is one of my favorite spots. I love their salads (Luau Salad) and even their pasta dishes. I found out yesterday that the Bistro Shrimp Pasta has 2819 calories, 77 g saturated fat, and 1,008 mg of sodium. Isn’t that crazy? How depressing and unhealthy for you… I couldn’t believe it has over 2800 calories! I guess the shrimp and veggies do not cut it.
From now on, I need to try their healthier portions or the grilled fish. How do you stay healthy when you go out to eat?
