Wait! Before you head over to the Post Office, have you made sure that your packages are environmentally friendly?Â
Each year the US Postal Service sends out about 212 pieces of mail around the holiday season. Do you know how much cardboard, paper, and stamps that is? There are ways to green when going to the post office. You should check them out here.
Do you know any creative ways to green your packaging?

Please see comment under article on cutting living expenses. I strongly believe that the Wellington’s utility billing policy based on allocation rather than usage leads to significant energy waste by residents. How does this policy agree with the Wellington’s desire to “Go Green”?
Our utility billing system promotes conservation by reminding residents that utilities are controlable expenses. While the system is not the same as an individually metered program it is the most fair way that utilities can be billed in a community like The Wellington
I completely agree that there is much energy waste at the Wellington because of the utility billing policy. I’ve also noticed that the lights remain on in many vacant apartments. Not only is that wasteful, but in the end we all end up paying for that and that’s not entirely fair.
Hi Robin. Our team tries to ensure all lights are turned off in vacant apartments when they are not being shown, however, everyone forgets at times. Further, utilities for vacant apartments are not billed to the residents. Bainbridge pays the portion of utilities for all vacant apartments and common areas.
