Did you know the Columbia Pike Farmers Market is now year round? Sometimes the best things come from the Pike Park in front of the Rite Aid store at the corner of Columbia Pike and S. Walter Reed Drive.
The Pike Farmers Market has been around for years and served as the nation’s food route to the capital. Talk about some history, and it still continues. Some of my favorite vendors from the market are:
- Bonaparte Breads from Savage, Maryland
- Graces Pastries from Herndon, Virginia
- Smith Meadows Fresh Organic Meats & Eggs from Berryville, Virginia
- TeaCo from Arlington, Virginia
Where’s your favorite place to shop?
