In recent years, Pentagon City has emerged one of the D.C. area’s most fashionable neighborhoods. The highlight is The Fashion Centre at Pentagon City, the largest enclosed shopping mall in Arlington with 170 shops and restaurants, but there is much more to be discovered in Pentagon City.
At Pentagon Row, a lively shopping and entertainment destination, you can grab a bite to eat, treat yourself to a manicure, buy a new pair of shoes and even pick up some groceries at Harris Teeter. And when it’s time for a new pair of jeans, check out Denim Bar, an upscale boutique featuring the trendiest styles from Seven, Citizens of Humanity, Rock and Republic and more. After some shopping, strap on a pair of skates and go for a spin at the outdoor Pentagon Row Ice Skating Rink open from November through March.
Another great destination in Pentagon City is Virginia Highlands Park. Just a few blocks from all the world-class shopping, this extensive public greenspace features playgrounds, basketball courts, tennis courts, baseball diamonds, footpaths and a soccer field.
Pentagon City is easily accessible on the Metro’s blue or yellow line at the Pentagon City station.
