For another year, Ballet Across America II returns to DC until Saturday. See what’s happening in dance with different companies like: Memphis, Houston, Pacific Northwest, The Suzanne Farrell Ballet, Arizona, Tulsa, Aspen Santa Fe, Joffrey Ballet, and North Carolina Dance Theatre.

Dance was a big part of my life as a kid and I’ve always enjoyed seeing dance performances from different companies.  Ballet is inspiring to watch and tells a story.

Here’s the lineup for Friday’s show at the Kennedy Center:

• Aspen Santa Fe Ballet performs Red Sweet by Jorma Elo
• Tulsa Ballet dances Por Vos Muero
• The Joffrey Ballet inspires everyone with Jane Austen’s novel “Age of Innocence”  and turns it into a ballet
