The Wellington

Construction is currently under way on the Penrose Square project which will be yet another step in the redevelopment of the Columbia Pike Corridor. Once complete this project will house a brand new Giant Grocery that will provide the area with incredible convenience. I have finally come and taken residence at The Wellington. There is a loss of understanding on my part where some of the apartment complexes do not have a piano in the clubroom. I happen to enjoy playing my classical pieces when time perrmits and in Rosslyn there was a Grand Piano available in the clubroom to play. The entire community in the building always had a keen ear to my music and they all miss my music very much which extended from pop pieces to folk rock and classics as well ranging from Handel’s Pieces to Bach and Brahms and works as that of Scriabin are in the coming.
A piano certainly accents the whole complex and living conditions for many of the residents. Creates a keen interests for parents who have children. I happen to own a music school in NJ and continues to provide classes for students with teachers who are the best and with awards of international caliber.
The lack of it certainly has a void to this place and when arts don’t flourish, the community stagnates as well. I am hoping to acquire permission from my other building where I lived to come and practice there and the management simply loves my music as well.
The inconvenience is the cost of my fuel, time and the wear and tear on my vehicle. Although, pianos hardly cost these days and I am looking forward to buy a Grand Piano as soon as possible provided it fits in one of the apartments.
Look forward to seeing this piano in your building some day.

Although we appreciate your suggestion, unfortunately, we will not be able to get a piano at this time. If in the future we decide to purchase one, you’ll be the first to know. Thanks for your comment!
