Throwback Thursday Concerts – Every Thursday in September. 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Get your groove on during a Throwback Thursday concert in Freedom Park! Sip and Salsa – September 13. 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. The largest wine and food tasting event inside the Beltway, Sip and Salsa brings lush wines from Spain, Portugal, and Argentina to Arlington – all to the soundtrack of live Latin jazz performances. Pups and Pilsners – September 20. 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Pups and Pilsners is a dog-friendly outdoor beer festival in Crystal City. The event houses a massive beer garden with 10 stations, each featuring a different craft brew. There will also be libations from local breweries and wonderful cuisine from Crystal City restaurants.
